Well Mazacanno won like the good thing Trigger suggested last week and paid a sensational $3.70 on the tote.  Huge! 

Here’s a tip where you can work out the jumps winners for yourself.  Check the nominations and note the top weight and second top weight.  If these 2 accept for the race one of them should win.  If neither of them accept do not look at the top weights but go further down the field. 

In the steeple this week both highest weighted nominations accepted so expect the winner to come from either number 1 or 2.  In the hurdle, neither of the top weighted horses accepted so expect the winner to come from anywhere but number 1 as from 2 down they are all weighted the same. 

Anyway, that’s how you can find a winner in Melbourne. 

Up in Brisbane the carnival continues and Trigger has a couple for you.  In race 4 get on number 2 Carrara and in race 5 Trigger really likes the look of number 11 Maxisun.  A double for Tony Vasil. 

From these 2 you will have a bit in your kick so wait until the last in Sydney, race 8, and load up on the bottom one, number 12, Beautiful Day.
