January, 10th 2007 03:46 AM Welcome back to TiV - This is Vietnam.I think we've had long enough to read
about the fluffy bunny and his Miss Whiplash, which has been featured in
this section of cfn for the last couple of months. For another glance, at your
leisure, pronounced lezure and not the Yank version leezure, of the fluffy bunny
man press the blue icon for stored back dates...and more. But for now tuck into a
delightful conversation, which was recorded between Saigon Rugby Football Cluband a past ‘member' of the Club.
Club policies, it seems, have to be adhered to...tell us what you think.

Scroll down, start at the bottom and work your way up.
Dear Phillipa,
We are very confused regarding your intentions to file for harrasment and
are wondering what could possibly lead you to this decision?
In reviewing all correspondence we have answered your questions and
advised you on the most appropriate way to carry out your wishes in line
with club policy.
Our clubs charter states: "Any persons wishing to be added to the email list
must prepay US$20 in order to receive weekly updates of club activities".
You are clearly in breach of this and have in fact received weekly updates
for 6 months free of charge.
We understand that you do not wish to receive these weekly updates any
longer and would like to be removed from the email list.
Our clubs charter states: "Any person wishing to be removed from the email
list must complete the relevant documents providing a valid reason
that will be discussed for approval by the club committee". This service
has a US$50 administration fee.
We do not wish to cause you any further distress and as such will
remove you from our email list as requested.
In order for us to process your request we require payment of US$20
joining fee, US$50 cancellation fee, and if this is agreed to we will
send the relevant documents and payment details, and will not charge
you for the interest acrued on our membership dating back to the
last Touch Rugby Tournament.
We feel that this is the best possible solution for both parties and look
forward to receiving your acceptance.
Best Regards,

I blind copied him for that exact reason, do you think I would want him
subjected to this.
Stop emailing me before I file for harassment

Dear Phillip/Phillipa,
You do realise that by 'cc' - ing, as you put it, an acquaintance is
tantamount to correspondence and therefore a potentially new member
to the Club?
Would Phillip, your very manly boyfriend, wish to become a member
or shall we cancel his pending membership thus resulting in a $50.00
cancellation fee?
yours sincerely

Oh my God, what kind of organisation are you running?
I dont want to continue correspondance with you!!!!!again I ask the very
reasonable question, why would I pay to joinand then cancel when I am not even a member in the first place. Are you
that insecure that you cannot cope with rejection, take me off your list
please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Phillip am bcc'ing you this to show you what I have been dealing with
all day. Scroll down and read from the bottom up the rediculous,
irrational emails this organisation is sending me, can you believe it??)

Dear Phillipa,
Normally a non-member would not have so much of our time allocated to them.
Therefore I suggest that if you would like to continue correspondence with
us you pay your $20 membership fee. If at any time you wish to cancelyour membership you can then pay $50, complete the necessary
paperwork for consideration at the next committee meeting, and if
approved then you will be removed from the email list.
Please note however that you must provide a valid reason and as yet
this has not been received.

I am not even a member!!! I played once in a touch rugby tournament a
while back and someone took my details!!!
I am sure given these circumstances I can easily be removed from a mailing list.
PS Why would I want to pay $20 to join then $50 to cancel when I dont
even want to be on the list!!!! Surely you members are of a higher
cerebral calibre than that.

Hi Phillipa,
What a relief!
I apologise for not knowing all of our members although I think I'd get 90%
right.
If you are in fact one of our 130 paid members please let me know why
you want to be removed from the list?
Regardless I regret to inform you that the $50 cancellation fee still applies
for members, and for non-members it is a $20 joining fee followed by a $50
cancellation fee.
Please advise your preference and we will send you the consent forms.

Very interesting attempt at humour!!!
......
Have always been 'Phillipa', was never Phillip, (that would be my very
manly husband) shows how much you know about your members.
Will request that you waive the 50 dollars and still take my name of
the mailing list....................
Thanks in advance
Phillipa

Oh my God!
Phillip has become Phillipa!
We always suspected but didn't think you'd finally go through with it. Was it
Bangkok?
Well done Phillip, congratulations that you can now be your true self. If
you don't think that a rugby club fits in with your new "lifestyle" then we
will certainly remove you from the list, please send $50.
Wait until we tell the rugby club about
this!
