Bootlace: Walking holidays in the Alpujurras, Sierra Nevada, Spain. www.bootlace.com
Not just a walk in the park

And now this:

Play of the Day by Phil Drabble

It is Him

The scene: Waiting at the dodgems Jimi and fool are nestled between the bearded lady, the knife thrower and the trapeze artist when they suddenly realise it is the same hermaphrodite and in fact all three are one. Jimi asks if he/she/them knows Mel&colly, a young lady with big boobs and a dog.

Bearded Lady: Does she have a white beard?

Jimi: Yes.

Knife thrower: Does Colly have a white beard?

Jimi: Yes

Trapeze artist: Can they work for £10 a day?

fool: They’ll do it for crumbs

All three: Then it must be us

Jimi: You know you three are as cunning as a fox

All three: You know you’re a cute little heart breaker, you know you’re a sweet little love maker…

Narrator: Has Jimi found his inspiration? Will Mel&colly turn up in the nick of time? Will fool be practising his reverse parking in the dodgems all night? Tune in next week for more tokens. Meanwhile here’s next week’s quiz early:
