Bootlace: Walking holidays in the Alpujurras,
Not just a walk in the park
And now this:
Play of the Day by Phil Drabble
It is Him
The scene: Deep in the bowels of Beelzebub’s country flat, Peter Frampton’s bony hand appears from a flaming cauldron of spit and fury. His smug-like head next appears, locks flowing and lucid in the wavering heat, his eyes dancing with a demented angelic glow of menace; The flames lick and purr his skin, yet he doesn’t wince nay burn; from this pit of hell his voice breaks the dusk’s night in the old village in Kent…
PF: I wanna tell you I love your way, everyday
Janis: Fly children, back into the night, for he awakens. Stay silent and unseen; his eyes are not for yours. He’ll be calling for his mate, Robbie soon, but he has a new bridal to wisp him into and out of the darkness as hell’s vapours of the night will blink with wrath upon the knowledge of his scorn. Hush children, hush, tonight we are still. Hide and I shall seek our Bobby to save us.
Narrator: Suddenly the thinnest attempts of humour have been eaten by a small Buenos Arian child who also seems to like hair, oddly enough there’s a name for it - tricophegy, and this child had 2kg’s of it in her stomach, but back to the tale of It Is Him, which feels dark and unnerving. Come back next week, won’t you come back next week; don’t leave me here alone…stay for the quiz at least:

Dr. Phil Ology’s word of the week:
“Words, don’t come easy to me, how can I find the way to make you love me, oh words, they don’t come easy…”
Chore
‘Chore’ is the American version of the English word ‘chare’ and both share the meaning of repetitive work, frequently housework. They derive this meaning from the Old English word cerran which means ‘to turn’. From this comes the sense of work that requires regular attention.
