Not just a walk in the park

And now this:

Play of the Day by Phil Drabble

It is Him

The scene: Janis drops the spade and tears open her blouse, Peter covers his eyes as her decaying, wrinkled, alcohol abused body makes him gag…

Janis: Go on take it…take another little piece of my heart now baby

She’s fallen for him…literally and has cracked her head on her empty JD bottle. Peter sees this as an escape, but quickly does his hair in the glint of her rolling semi conscious eyes.

PF: Now to deal with Bobby.

Bobby: (From an even further distance than last week) …

Nope, can’t hear him he’s out of shot, but wait, what was that…no, no, just a black-naped oriole again…wish it were blue, that’s my favourite colour…

Narrator: Whilst ‘he’, who is ‘he’ anyway, but whilst ‘he’s’ there and got a case of the Hesitation Blues, we’ll get on with the quiz:

1) What is a black-naped oriole?

2) What word describes the brightness of stars?

3) What did Croft and Perry create between them?

4) In which country is La Coruna international airport?

5) Which are there most of – birds, fish or insects?

6) In MODEM, MO stands for Modulator, what does DEM stand for?

7) The Tour of Spain in cycling takes place how often?

8) How many points does a player score for a goal in hurling? A) 1 B) 2 C) 3
