Another pretty slow week in AFL circles this week with all supporters trying to work out if their club picked wisely at last weeks draft.  Who will know until the season gets underway but Digger thinks West Coast have done particularly well. 

No pick up for Ben however. 

Pre season training is in full swing and Digger is closely looking at those abovementioned draft picks, recovery from off season surgery and the general attitude of all clubs.  The up coming pre season predictions will be very interesting. 

Just get ready for these comments to flow thick and fast in the coming weeks, 

“We are training the house down” 

“We are fitter than ever before” 

“Expect Joe Blow to have his best season ever” 

“The young blokes have bulked up and will show great things this year” 

Blah, blah, blah, blah. 

I do know that they will be trialing new rules in the pre-season cup, including additional field umpires and you will get the thoughts of Digger on that and other rules in the coming weeks.
