The pre-season NAB Cup has the semi finals this weekend and in a battle of the navy blue and whites, Geelong takes on Carlton.  It is only the NAB Cup after all but I think Geelong will be keen to erase last years Grand Final loss by winning this game and the final of the NAB. 

Essendon takes on Collingwood in the other semi final and the Bombers have been impressive.  However Digger sees a Collingwood Geelong final in a weeks time. 

Graham Polak has been named in Richmond’s team for a practice match this Friday.  Go the pole, this will make Wildblood happy. 

Had an interview with the Swan fan turned Collinwood fan last Sunday night but he was as pissed as a fart and made no sense whatsoever.  He has that Collingwood fan thing down pat already. 

The 16 AFL clubs will get together for crisis talks and have not invited the Commandant or any of the cadre along.  The Commandant “supports” the idea even though a few agenda topics want to make AFL headquarters more accountable.
