The power has just come back on and much to do so Digger offers a short commentary this week.

Ben has been suspended by the league for 12 months.  He can play in other leagues if that particular league allows him.  Confusingly, it has not been confirmed about the VFL.  The original statement said he could play VFL for stand alone teams but not those with AFL club affiliation.  The a Commandant back step, side step and a quick step.  At this point Digger has no idea.

The G train retired at the end of last season to travel Europe with his significant other.  Seems they have split and he has nominated for the draft.  Give it up Fraser, you have little chance of being picked up.

Geelong started training this week so all teams are back on the track.

Big Barry Hall has resigned as co-captain of Sydney.

5 anonymous people are donating 2 million each to try and keep the Kangaroos are in Melbourne.  The AFL want a team on the Gold Coast and now may need to establish a seventeenth team for the Gold Coast.
