Firstly to one and all a big apology for being absent in recent weeks but I needed to give support to Trigger over the Spring carnival.  And who want to write about the Teflon kid every week?  Okay, me.

News of the week would be the Geelong supporter on holiday in Phuket, Thailand recently.  Had 15 cans of beer and went to have tattoos done to celebrate Geelong's recent Premierships.  Wrote down exactly what he wanted under the headings left arm and right arm.  On the left arm he wanted 2006 Night Premiers and on the right arm 2007 Day Premiers with both arms to include a Cat's logo.

Well he almost got exactly what he wanted including the words left arm and right arm but was horrified to see that Geelong are now the 2007 Gay Premiers.  Yeeeesh.

Australian cricket team skipper, Ricky "Punter" Ponting has thrown in his two bobs worth and wants the Kangaroos to stay in Melbourne and not move to the Gold Coast.  Just worry about cricket mate.

Scott Welsh looks like going to the Western Bulldogs after failing to agree to terms with the Ravens.  This is his third club and Digger wonders what he can offer to the scraggers.

Pre-season training has started in earnest for most AFL clubs and Digger is starting a new competition in memory of many pre-seasons slogging the asphalt while doing the "bridges" run.
