One decent game this weekend...

One decent game this round and that is the Geelong’s taking on the Western Bulldogs on Friday night.  Young Gary Ablett should return for the Cats as should Paul Chapman who is supposedly injured but Digger’s insiders tell him Chapman was having a rest last week and coach Bomba Thompson wanted to play an extra “tall” to test that option for later in the year, meaning when they play St. Kilda.  Bucket mouth Akermanis plays his 300th AFL game and this could spur the Doggies.  However Geelong’s form has been splendid in recent weeks and their winning run will continue.

Next up, the North Melbourne team host the Fremantle team and this game has all the hallmarks of being a fizzer.  Surprisingly the bookies have North favourite and $2.10 can be had on the Dockers.  What do these bookies know?  I reckon they will be wrong and that Freo will get the bickies.

Carlton travel to Adelaide to meet the Ravens and they will be cock-a-hoop after belting Collingwood last week.  While Adelaide struggled up north last week back at home it may be a different kettle of fish.  Digger for one has never seen a fish in a kettle.  Chris Judd is in super form for the Blues and their youngens are improving well.  However, I am tipping against the bookies again and expect an Adelaide win.

Saturday night West Coast host the injury riddled Collingwood and have an enormous chance to notch another win.  They will.

Richmond host Essendon in the Dreamtime game at the MCG on Saturday night.  The Tigers are in turmoil and with Essendon on the improve they are well entitled to start favourites.  Bombers to inflict more pain on Richmond.

The other 3 winners for the round will be Sydney, St. Kilda and Hawthorn.
