Congratulations to the Geelong boys and commiseration to the St. Kilda lads. In what was a cracker of a game played in wintry weather the scoreline see-sawed all day and maybe it was the Grand Final experience that got the Cats over the line.
Looking back through the archives I see that Digger tipped the Saints to win, Geelong to run second and the Western Bulldogs third in the pre-season. Just about spot on.
Again over the summer Digger will be getting the inside gossip on trade moves, the gun recruits and the mental preparations of all sides. Weekly the news will be bought to you and just before the season you will get the teams to back.
