The AFL rules committee recently stated that they would not introduce a rule that limits the amount of interchanges per quarter or match.  Well now they have introduced a rule, to be trialed during this seasons NAB pre-season cup, that will limit the number of interchanges to 16 per quarter.

Naturally this has pissed off the coaches who use the NAB to ease star and veteran players into the season.  Cannot trust anyone these days.

Big full forward David Neitz has been re-appointed as Melbourne skipper for 2008.

And not other news on AFL circles this week but next week all training programs will step up a bit with the Nab just a month away.
