This week our q's are answered, again, by Marc...

Here you go, a few guesses but I think almost correct and a guess at Who am I

1. What is the connection between ZZ top's opening credits and today's theme? Looks obvious but with you, one can never tell - Beards - Yes, but in more detail it was ironically the the two guitarists who wore the ‘super' - beards and the drummer who in fact was hairless on the chin department, but who's name is Mr. Beard!

2. Which two companies first developed the compact disc? Sony/Philips

3. What is the middle colour of the Italian flag? White

4. What is the only English anagram of MARASHINO? (And what the blazers does that mean?) And where do you get an anagram of this word?? If you have then you must have made it up!!!! And I only remember that name being linked to cherries - HARMONICAS

5. What is formed by the metamorphosis of limestone? Marble

6. Where did Polly work for Basil and Sybil? Waitress at Fawlty Towers

7. What is Ceylon now called? Sri Lanka

8. Who were the three founder members of The Who that remained after the death of Keith Moon? Pete Townshend, Roger Daltrey and John Entwistle

WHO AM I? ‘I'll be commentating on the world stage in the next month or so, alternating with Lamb' Ian Botham as a wild guess as Beefy seems to go well with the saying!!!

Marc

Well done Marc old chap - a pot of tea is in the post
