Ok fair enough,,,but, my answer for 8 was just going on experience at
the platforms at one of my local pools,,,where any and all diving
styles were undertaken,,,

You are completely right on all counts, and grumbles have been coming in from all corners of the globe, hence the sub totals in brackets for some kind of consolation!
However the original structure catered for the first in best dressed scenario, which has stood its 7 year test of time.
Needless to say, if you had thought about moving west when leaving Vietnam instead of east, you would have had a complete unbias advantage, especially if you had made it as far as New-Foundland, which was invented by some Viking bloke called Eriksson 1000 years ago.
fool hates to tamper with tradition, but is, as always, willing to listen to any alternatives.
