3.William ‘Fatty' Foulkes professional cricketer and football player in England
William Henry "Fatty" Foulke (also spelt Foulk or Foulkes) (April 12, 1874 in Dawley, Shropshire - May 1, 1916) was a professional cricketer and football player in England in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Foulke was renowned for his great size and weight, reaching perhaps 24 stone (150 kg) at the end of his career, although reports on his weight vary.
He played four first-class matches for Derbyshire County Cricket Club in 1900, but is remembered primarily as a goalkeeper for Sheffield United and Chelsea. He also won a single interntional cap for England in 1897.
After being discovered playing for village side Blackwell in a Derbyshire Cup tie at Ilkeston Town, Foulke made his debut for Sheffield United against West Bromwich Albion on September 1, 1894 and led the team to three FA Cup finals (winning two) and a League Championship. He then moved to Chelsea for a fee of £50. He was made captain there, but stayed for just one season before moving to his final club, Bradford City.
Foulke died in 1916. His death certificate gives "cirrhosis" as the major cause of death[1]. The stories of pneumonia caught whilst earning pin money at a "beat the goalie" booth on Blackpool sands seem to be without foundation.
Foulke appears in the Mitchell and Kenyon films, playing in a match on September 6, 1902.

7. Piano - Bartolomeo Cristofori
By Mary Bellis Piano History of the Piano - Bartolomeo Cristofori (di Francesco)
The piano first known as the pianoforte developed from the harpsichord around 1720, by Bartolomeo Cristofori of Padua, Italy. The instrument was already over a hundred years old by the time Beethoven was writing his last sonatas, around the time when it ousted the harpsichord as the standard keyboard instrument. The piano has had a central place in music since the middle of the eighteenth century. Around 1780, the upright piano was created by Johann Schmidt of Salzburg, Austria and later improved in 1802 by Thomas Loud of London whose upright piano had strings that ran diagonally.
8. [Movement of the pieces Each piece moves in a different pattern.
- The rook moves any number of squares orthogonally to the players (forward, backward, left or right). Also see castling.
- The bishop moves any number of squares diagonally.
- The queen moves any number of squares orthogonally or diagonally.
- The king moves only one square orthogonally or diagonally. Also see castling.
- The knight moves in an "L"-shape (two spaces in one direction and one space orthogonally to it). The knight can jump over other pieces when moving.
- The pawn can only move away one space (or two spaces, see below) forward in a straight line away from the player, unless there is an enemy piece diagonally (either left or right) one space in front of the pawn; if such a situation occurs, then the pawn may either move diagonally to capture that piece or continue moving in a straight line. The pawn can move one or two spaces if it hasn't moved from its original square. Also see en passant.
Pieces capture opposing pieces by replacing them on their square, except for the en passant rule.
