Sponsorship Package Options Rugby World Cup
The Saigon Rugby Club is very pleased to announce that the Special Guest for this year’s Rugby World Cup Final will be Scott Staniforth. Scott has enjoyed a fantastic rugby career beginning with selection in the Australian schoolboys in 1995, and then going on to represent Australia at both the Under 19 and Under 21 levels. In 1999 he was chosen as one of the youngest members of the Australian World Cup squad, and then was also selected in the World Cup squad in 2007. Scott played 12 tests for the Wallabies for a total of 35 points, and has scored more than 200 points in just over 100 Super Rugby games.

All sponsors are invited to come along to a “Sponsors Only” Event where drinks and snacks will be provided. Sponsors will have the opportunity to meet Scott Staniforth and then listen to his experiences playing rugby at the highest level. Scott is happy to answer any questions that our sponsors may have and will be available for photo opportunities if desired.
Saturday 22 October – Rugby Match
All sponsors are invited to RMIT International University Sports Fields to watch an “old boys” rugby game (over 35yrs). The Saigon Dirty Geckos are welcoming the USA Bald Eagles to Vietnam for the first time and have secured the services of Scott Staniforth as “Supercoach” for the occasion. The game will commence at 4pm and beers will be available to sponsors free of charge.
Sunday 23 October – Rugby World Cup Final – Sheraton Hotel
The doors will open at 1pm with the main game kicking off at 3pm. There will be a buffet lunch provided (menu attached) as well as free flow beer and wine. The game will be shown on 3 large screens and attendance will reach 420 guests.

Platinum Sponsors will receive one table of 10 of their choice for the Rugby World Cup Final event and will have an option to reserve other tables provided these are paid for in full prior to release of tables to the general public.
Platinum Sponsors will receive 5 tickets to the Friday Sponsors Night event.
The Platinum Sponsors logo will be displayed on all of marketing advertisements to be published in the local press and promoted in the local community, including any press releases related to the event.

On 9 September 2011 the 7 Rugby World Cup will begin in Auckland when New Zealand takes on Tonga at Eden Park. Over the following 6 weeks at venues across the country, twenty rugby playing nations will compete for the title of World Cup Champions, with the Final being held on Sunday 23 October at 3pm, Vietnam time.

The room has been booked for 420 people with free flow beer and wine, and a great buffet menu (attached).
Tables of 10 are now available to sponsors that would like to use the opportunity of an international Saigon audience to promote their company and its activities. Following this they will be sold to Saigon Rugby Club members, and finally if there are any tables remaining they will be sold to the general public for US$800 per table.
